Organization Overview
Since 2023 Wolfe & Kron Books is the Jersey Shore's queer / woman / neurodivergent owned bookstore proudly located in Uptown Asbury Park, NJ. She/they is serving Collectible, Used + New Titles of speculative fiction
Wolfe & Kron Books is dedicated to centering LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPoC authors and stories that imagine diverse futures, presents and pasts. Our shelves are filled with Speculative Fiction which encompasses any book that asks a "what if . . . ?" as its central and driving force. As part of our mission to increase access to stories for everyone, paired with a drive toward sustainability, our in-store shelves include affordable Used Paperbacks and Hardcovers, as well as regularly priced New Books. We also have a love of Collectible, Out-of-Print, and Rare Books. However, we are not an antiquarian bookseller, and our books are almost all from the 1950s onward, mainly being from the mid-70s to present day.
As a New + Used Bookstore, we aim to fill in the back-catalogs of authors, and to maintain the accessibility of books that have not been republished. Our goal is to help you find authors who've been left off the shelves of the big-box stores, and the books that may not have made it back into print, for all that New Bookstores might want to stock them.
We are buyers and sellers of new and used books, and we are genuine in our mission to find new homes for the books that come to us. Please, spread the word! Too often we still hear stories of old books ending up in dumpsters simply because someone didn't understand they still had worth.
We're here and queer all year, not just during the summer tourist beach season, so cmon by.
Show some spine. Get shelved.
