Event Details

Join NAIBA and the Professional Bookseller's School for a lunchtime talk with children's book expert Jana Herko, Manager of Scholastic's Corporate Leveling Center. She'll explain the current "reading wars" and the changes to how reading is taught at the elementary level, and then share insights about the implications for how children's books are leveled. Bring your questions about early readers, chapter books, and how you can best help kids and parents find the best books!

To register for the event you need to have a record on the PBS website. When you click the option to get a ticket you'll be prompted to create a record. You'll need a unique e-mail, and to enter your name and Regional Trade Association. If you need help, please e-mail elliott@professionalbooksellers.com.
